Ford CFO Don Leclair retiring, Ford Europe's Booth will replace him

Filed under: Ford Ford Chief Financial Officer Don Leclair has decided to hang up his spreadsheets after an illustrious career at the Blue Oval. Leclair worked at Ford for 32 years and has held the top financial post there since 2003. Succeeding Leclair will be Ford of Europe President Lewis Booth. Booth has helped lead Ford's positive transformation in Europe and grow Mazda's success around the world, which are probably Ford's two largest successes of the past decade. Lewis Booth To Take Financial Reins At Ford Beginning November 1st [Lewis Booth]

Looks like current Ford CFO Don "Cream-filled French pastry" LeClair will step aside November 1st. Taking the spreadsheet and ledger helm, along with Executive Vice President, for Ford will be none other than Lewis Booth, the current head of Ford Europe. I've known Booth for a number of years (his daughter and I graduated high school together) and can't think of a better person to bring some good ol' fashioned old world pain to the books of an automaker that's seen it's share price plummet to levels lower than a gallon of gas .
